Old-School meets New-School with this unique Twin Turbo 1968 Lincoln Continental. Out shining the monotonous competition of restored classics; this car has been hand-crafted with both the sleek look of an original and the modern day tech of a high powered sports car. In order to create a clean, sexy look the Builders began by removing the roof, capping the doors and shaving the trim. The windshield was tilted back and the deck lid was raised to give this street rod an aerodynamic flow. Each bumper was molded and modified to sit closer to the body bringing uniformity to an over nineteen foot vehicle. The dash was fabricated 'out of steel, making the Dakota Digital gauges home to a clean and beautiful custom dash. Adding to that a Car Concepts custom Pioneer Sound/Navigation system with hand fabricated JL Audio boxes. Underneath the hood, the engine started as a LS2 6.0L and with some modifications to the heads and cam making the engine ready for some power adders. STS performance provided a set of twin turbos to feed the motor and after adding methanol injection and a boost controller this vehicle pushes out well over 700HP. Transferring that power to the ground through a big 4L80E transmission and into a narrowed Ford 9" rear end with 3.91 gears, Detroit locker, and a set of Mossier axles. An ample set of 315/25/22 tires in the rear with 3 piece 22" Asanti rims on all fours are accented with a set of substantial 13" CPP big disc brakes with .triple chrome calipers to keep this monster on the road.
