This truck has been parked in my yard in Houston-TX since November 2017 and never removed. Has a diesel engine and it was running when parked. I have done everything I could to communicate the previous owner to collect it but this has never happened. I have done all legal procedures to have the right for selling it. I am selling it where it is as it is with NO TITLE and no keys. Batteries are dead so I have not tried to start it. Please, donīt ask me VIN number year of manufacturing or details I wonīt be able to answer. I will not ship it. I wish you luck sure you will get it for a bargain. This is a NO RESERVE action.

Robert Craig "Bobby" Hupp was born in 1878 in Grand Rapids, MI. In 1902 he signed on as a laborer at the Olds Motor Works, his first job in the new and exciting automobile world. By November 1908 he incorporated the Hupp Motor Car Company, and was on his way to success. He introduced the model 32 in 1912. This 1913 Hupmobile is a true survivor, you will not find another like this one, anywhere. For more than 104 years, this car has seen many eras in automotive history. It starts (by using the crank, no electrical system), runs, drives, turns, and stops. My father bought this car many years ago, he drove it locally on our rural roads in northern California but it has been stored at our family home since then. It has correct original acetylene headlights, original kerosene tail light, and original kerosene running lights at the windshield. All upholstery is factory original, it is worn but complete. The correct original radiator cap is still in place. Much of the original paint is still ...

This old established firm had opened its doors in 1886 to manufacture bicycles; and later supplied wire wheels for the Curved Dash Olds Runabout and axles to Cadillac. It then was under a 10-year contract (started in 1908) to provide axles for Buick, and, in fact, had been bought out by General Motors in 1913. Buick now also was absorbed as a Division of the fast recovering GM Corporation which (through Durant and his Chevrolet) had successfully weathered a severe financial storm and was regaining freedom from the bankers. This is the famous "Andy Hope Overland" owned for decades by Mr Hope (2nd owner) of Tulsa Ok. It is likely the most original Overland model 83 In existence today. Mr Hopes prized possession, he lovingly restored the car in the 50s. The car was bought through the estate by Mr Richard Rawlings of "Gas Monkey Garage" and I bought it from him. In fact.... the car (and my purchase) was featured on the season premier of the show this year. (Kinda cool. Super nice guy!!!!) Richard did nothing to the car. Didn't even wipe the dust off. When I bought it..... the car hadn't been run in 40+ years! So after I got it home..... I dropped the oil pan and pulled all the main and rod bearing caps to check the Babbitt and fit. All perfect. Next I opened and flushed and lubed the transaxle/differential, repacked wheel bearings, freed a stuck valve. Soaked rings/pistons in Marvel mystery oil for a week, adjusted valves, all new "correct" hoses and clamps. New "correct" plug wires, blasted plugs, flushed water ...
