1912 Buick Touring                             1912 proved to be a record year for the Buick, having built and sold nearly 20,000 automobiles. This was nearly 7,000 more than the 1911 output and placed Buick second in US sales, behind Henry Ford’s famous Model T. For the 1912 model year, Buick offered six models with different sized engines, wheelbases and body styles. The most popular of these was the Model 29. The Model 29 was offered as a touring car. It was powered by the 201 cubic inch, four-cylinder engine. Like all Buicks, the Model 29, featured the famous “Valve In Head” design, which was Buick’s own term for an overhead valve engine. The robust engine was coupled to a three-speed, sliding gear transmission, which was mounted on the 108” wheelbase chassis. Approximately 6,000 Model 29 touring cars were sold in 1912 with a base price of 1,180.00. We are proud to offer this very original and well cared for 1912 Buick Model 29 touring car. This car is being offered for the first time ...

This Knox is the rarest of the rare, the only surviving usable Knox D-4 Omnibus known to exist (records of the Knox registry) Built in Springfield MA in 1904 and sold to the Bass Rocks Motor Line to transport visitors from the rail station to the Bass Rocks Hotel Restored in 1976, used for parades and shows since then. Beautifully restored Original 1913 Ford Model T Touring car I purchased this 1913 Ford Model T Touring car almost 10 years ago. The car was in exceptional original condition for the age and had spent most of it's life owned by the same family in the State of New York. A Frame off, nut and bolt restoration was recently completed and I don't think you'll find a nicer 1913 Touring anywhere. The fenders, running boards and splash shields are finished in black and are as nice underneath as they are on top. The body is the original dark blue color and finished with the correct light gray pin stripes. The wheels are the correct original wood fellow wheels and the wheel fellow plates are stamped with a "P" indicating they were originally produced by The Prudden Co. The tires are Universal All White Smooth tires and the tubes are the correct metal stemmed tubes with brass nuts & dust covers. The top and interior on the car appear as new. The car has the correct white rubber floor mat in the front, ...

1911 EMF Model 30 Speedster                             Awesome piece of motoring history featuring a rare, factory 3-speed transaxle!  Outstanding Gentleman’s Speedster designed while in England with original 30 horsepower engine, gorgeous brass appointments, and perfect running operation!  Act quickly! In Detroit in 1908, three men founded a company to build their own cars; Barney Everett, a man who had made a fortune building car bodies; William Metzger, a super-salesman for Cadillac; and Walter Flanders, who had been Ford production manager. Their name became simply E-M-F Company and the production car was introduced in 1909 and sold through established Studebaker dealerships, called the Model 30 matching the horsepower output. It would be considered a medium priced, mass produced vehicle that was a notch above the popular Ford leading the country in sales. Soon after, Everett and Metzger had left the company by 1909 in a huff to build the Everett, leaving Flanders to continue building ...

1912 Simplex Model 38 Holbrook Tourer A 2                             Although the history of the mighty Simplex automobile is complicated, its reputation is not. The Simplex automobile is considered by automotive historians as one of the most significant cars built in America during the pre-World War I period.  What set the automobiles built by Simplex apart from other American and European vehicles was the extreme attention to detail and quality. The Simplex automobile was one of the first true American sports cars. From the factory, they could be driven as powerful road going vehicles during the week and competitively raced on the track during the weekend. They were engineered to have the ideal power to weight ratios, which, in stock form, made them one of the most competitive American racing machines of the period.      This history of Simplex began when Proctor Smith and Carlton Mabley began importing fine European cars to New York early in the 20th century. In order to escape import ...
