VIN: 11111 | 1926 Ford Model T 1926 Ford T Bucket "Moonshiner" Mickey Himsl Roadster show winner Richmond, Virginia ![]() ![]() ![]() 2h 26m webuytrucks2020 ![]() The legendary "Moonshiner" was the result of a 4-year build by hot rod legend Mickey Himsl. This was a special display vehicle at the 50th Anniversary of the Grand National Roadster Show, and won 2015 Best in Class at the Grand National Roadster Show and Sacramento Autorama. Magazine cover car for Hop Up magazine and featured in hot rod historian Pat Ganahl's book "Lost Hot Rods II: More Remarkable Stories of How They Were Found." Himsl's "Moonshiner" was a mainstay on the show scene in the early '60s, including the 1959 Oakland Roadster Show and cover car on Car Craft magazine in 1960 and Rod & Custom magazine in 1963. Himsl traded the Moonshiner away in 1965 and regretted it almost immediately. He searched for his original car for many, many years, but the Moonshiner was lost to time. In 1995 Himsl decided he would bring his Moonshiner design back to life all over again. He located a new and correct touring body, and the project began. The touring body had the back removed, and was channeled ...
1926 Ford Model T Ford Model T Ford Snowmobile Hardwick, Vermont ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 3h 24m everfair1 ![]() I purchased this Model T Snowmobile, a real piece of American history about 20 years ago. It was sold to me as 1926 that had been fashioned into snowmobile. I believe it was done by a man by the name of Virgil White from Ossipee, New Hampshire. He called these machines Snowmobiles and actually patented the name. Machines like these were used back when roads were rolled to pack down the snow, not plowed.I have changed nothing on this T since purchased , but have had many great memories from using it on my property in the winter time. Great photo opportunities also, most people have never seen one. It has a 6 volt electrical system with electric start, as well as a hand crank in the front. Body has some paint chips, tires are ok, lights work, very little rust. Model T Snowmobile owners here in New England have a club that meets in the winter driving the many different and interesting machines. To see some of these events go Ytube and type in Model T Snowmobile . Happy to answer any questions ...

The rusty patina has a satin clear coat and has all the right wear and tear dings, scratches, and marks that have been earned over the past 90 years. In 2017 the body was removed, and the original frame was boxed in for strength. A 1968 Mercury Cougar with less than 7000 miles was used as a donor vehicle which had been parted out in 1968 after a wreck. The FORD 289 engine and C4 automatic transmission was put in the frame along with the Ford 8.5” rear end. A 3- row aluminum radiator was hidden behind the stock grille shell and an electric fan was added. Some springs were removed from the stock rear leaf pack to lower the stance. A 2.5” drop axel was used up front. All four wheels have disc brakes and conventional shocks were added to improve the ride. A 1920 era shipping box was located at an antique store and modified to conceal a 15-gallon fuel cell in the truck bed. 1934 Ford ...
