It was in the process of being restored by previous owner as he had the engine and transmission completely rebuilt. The guy has since passed away so the car never got finished. The all steel body is in really good condition. The seats were taken out to be recovered but the family don't know where they are at the present time. The floors are not in it either. It has the original wood spoke wheels and the wood steering wheel. The wood steering wheel has all the pieces and is now together and there are alot of extra parts that go with the car. Up for bid is a 29 model a pick up. The motor and frame are 29 and the cowl, wheels and hood are later. This truck does run and move. There is no key. Hook up the battery , press the starter and it starts. I have the hood sides, 1 rear fender and running boards. will need more work to be roadworthy. The brakes do work but will need attention. The motor also needs attention (carb float sticks, sticky valve, water pump drips, probably needs head gasket) but it does run. Timing is probably off, doesn’t run too good but it will move and the transmission shifts fine. This is a “running project” with a ny transferable registration that is from 1955. Numbers don’t match but they are close, within a month of production number. Back part of cab is home made. Local pickup in New Jersey or shipping is to be arranged by buyer. On Jan-21-20 at 12:31:25 PST, seller added the following information: If anyone wants a video if it running , message me and I will send itIt also comes with an original spare ...

Up for sale is a 1928 Chevy 2 door sedan. It's a car that was purchased about 20 years ago by my father. He purchased it from an individual that was in the process of restoring it. Previous owner was able to rebuild mechanics and steel frame including outer shell with new panels and components. Restoration is incomplete and will require interior restoration. Most of the parts are there inside the vehicle including rear fenders and rear travel compartment. True mileage is unknown. Please contact me with any questions.
