1939 Cadillac LaSalle Convertible 85,528 miles After slashing models and prices to survive the deepening Depression of the early 30s, Cadillac began the process of reviving its LaSalle lineup with the new Series 50 introduced in 1935. Revised styling, a longer wheelbase and a new 322 CI “Monoblock” V-8 attracted buyers in record numbers. In 1939 the Model 50 was reworked with a shorter wheelbase and the attractive new shape seen on this splendid 1939 convertible, the subject of a frame-off restoration. Finished in the regal combination of Burgundy with Tan interior, it features a 3-speed column-shifted manual transmission, chrome bumpers and wheel covers, wide Whitewalls, fog lights and an in-dash clock. Sold out of the collection of Patrick Hurst in October of 2013 This vehicle was purchased by it's present owner and was enjoyed for only special occasions up until 6/2014 when the owner had the vehicle highly recommission mechanically. Absolutely no expense was spared in excess of $16,000.00 ...

For sale is what was considered to be the best car ever built by Brunn and Company. I say this because I had many conversations with Mr. Brunn in 1966 when I purchased this car in Philadelphia. Mr. Brunn sent me a very descriptive letter describing this car which was commissioned by Joseph Early Widener of Elkins Park Pa. Mr. Widener ordered 2 identical town cars, body # 1 was sent to his 80 room mansion in Elkins Park, Lynnewood Hall, body # 2 was shipped to Hialeah where Mr. Widener owned a smaller winter house, 65 rooms, and he owned and operated the Hialeah horse racing track. Mr. Widener was not pleased with the design of cars from the late pre war era and wanted a standout, statement automobile, he got it! The 2nd car was destroyed in the 1950's while still in Florida. Mr. Brunn stated that this particular order was the financial driving force that kept the Brunn Co. in business for the next few years. No expense was spared on this car. The Chauffeur compartment is finished in Italian ...

1934 Buick 2D 40 Series was purchased from a NY family in 2002 and has been in storage since. It ran when I put in storage but had other projects. I intended to restore but still have too many projects. Car is very solid with no rust. Doors close solidly with good gap and fit. Dual side mounts with covers and hardware included. The side mount wells are very solid with no rust. I do NOT have the two spares. The left front fender has a crack in bead and minor damage but very repairable. Left rear fender is about the same. Right front and rear fender are solid with minor scrapes. All glass will need to be replaced. Regulators are good and work easily and smoothly. Dash is clean with all instruments. Odometer reads 47560 miles. All wood appears good except the slats that support the cloth roof insert. Upholstery all present and good patterns. No rear bumper and left trunk lock is broken. This is a really solid start for restoration. Running gear is original and complete. 1998 State of NY Registration ...
