Just bought this car and pulled it out of a barn where is had set for 30+ years. Barn was concrete floor and there was only one spot in the trunk a mouse had made a home. Wiring all seems to be good on the car. I had big plans but my circumstances have changed and I just need it gone now. It will be listed here one time. It will be listed with Mecum in December if it does not sell the first go around I have to commit it to Mecum. Seats had seat covers on them so the original seats are not in bad shape at all. We installed to get running: Plugs, points, rotor bug, and a section of fuel line. Car went up on the lift to grease the chassis and check all the fluids as well as change the oil. Fluids were all good and the right colors. Oil and filter were changed Put used tires on it. It needs all new bushings underneath. Brakes do not work. E-Brake is how I stop the car. Most of the gauges are working. There is a dent in the passenger side fender where the old man that had it back his truck ...

This rare 1936 Olds 3 window business coupe has all of it's original steel body panels. The car is in overall very good condition for its age. It has brand new tires! It was converted into a street hot rod sometime in the 1970's or 80's. It has a 1968 Camaro front frame under it, I re done all of the front end and put front disc brakes on it with drilled and slotted rotters. IT HAS A GM 10 BOLT POSI REAR END IN IT WITH 4:10 GEARS. I PUT A REBUILT LS1 AND 4160E TRANSMISSION IN IT FROM A 1999 TRANS AM. It has 3 inch dual EXHAUST and, THE PCM WAS CUSTOM TUNED, It should have close to 400 hp. The whole system and lights have been converted to 12 volt and it all works. I put a brand new tilt steering column and B&M shifter in it. The trunk has been coated with spray in bed liner. I just had it painted the hood is not on it yet, my body guy will have it put on in the next few days, In the pictures I just set it up there so you can see what it will like with it on. I HAVE A CLEAR TITTLE IN HAND ...

I wanted so badly to resto-rod this beautiful car! 1938 was a recession year and very few 1938 F-38 Rumble Seat Convertibles were made by Olds; this is one of only two I have ever seen or heard of in over thirty years in the hobby. What makes this car great are the grille and body lines, and the rumble seat with the little trunk below it. What really makes this car a great restoration or resto-rod project is the strong, beefy frame, along with factory independent front suspension. Even better, the entire frame and running gear have already been restored, while the body is solid throughout, even down to the fender edges and other places where rust normally creeps in. The body itself has is already done and in primer. The only bodywork left to do is a little straightening of the front fenders and some edge work on the bottom of the rear fenders. There is NO rust in the floorboards (they look perfect--see the photos), inner fender panels, frame or anywhere else on this car. The only thing ...
