For your consideration is a 1939 Packard Model 1701 One Twenty Convertible Sedan. This well preserved example is elegantly finished in black with a contrasting tan convertible top over a deep red leather interior. The exterior body panels are straight, rust free and original. The bodylines are complemented by chrome work that is still showing very well with virtually no pitting or tarnish, which is unusual for a car of this vintage. Mechanically the car starts right up even after sitting for a while. The original Packard straight 8 engine, with less than 51,000 miles, runs very well and the column mounted “Handishift” transmission advances smoothly through the gears. At some point during its life, the original front drum brakes were upgraded to disk brakes to improve the stopping capability of this substantial vehicle. In the event the new owner wanted to take it back to stock, the original drum brakes will be included in the sale of the car. The interior is a time capsule and a superb ...

Only a few times in a lifetime does an opportunity like this arise to obtain a very special, unique collector vehicle. DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY!! This is a gorgeous, very rare 1939 Packard model 1700 convertible. This survivor has just 56,670 miles from new, and has been owned by two families for nearly it's entire life. When was the last time you've seen one in person? This beautiful car was purchased new in 1939 as a second anniversary present for Mrs. Brinny and it was her pride and joy. She proudly kept this vehicle for many years until she was forced to stop driving. A collector purchased this car briefly, but Mrs. Brinny couldn't imagine anyone else "outside the family" owning the car, so she purchased it back. She enjoyed the car until she moved to a home without a garage, forcing her to sell the car. Our family purchased the car from her, and we have taken great care of it since. We are now looking for a new family to take the reigns. Upgrades done on the car include: re-chrome, ...

1936 Packard Twelve Model 1408 Convertible Sedan                             One of 682 Packard Twelves built in 1936! This Dietrich-bodied Convertible Sedan is one of very few ever produced!  Packard Beige over brand new Red Leather upholstery!  CCCA Full Classic! The Packard Twelve was introduced in 1932 in response to Cadillac’s V16 that had been capturing the upper one percent’s attention for the past two years. Building upon the legacy of the fabled but discontinued Packard Twin-Six that put Cadillac in their place from 1916-1923, the new Twelve was launched with an all-new 67-degree 446ci V12 with four main bearings and integrally cast block and crank. Continuous yearly updates and an engine stroking in 1934 to 473ci kept the Twelve on top of its competition. All said and done, Packard sold 682 Twelves in 1936 compared to only 52 Cadillac Sixteens and 901 V12 cars. 1936 would prove to be the final year for wire wheels and Cadillac’s unique “Packard Stabilizer” chassis vibration dampers. ...

Up for sale is an original un-restored 1940 Packard One-Twenty Club Sedan with custom coachwork by Bohman & Schwartz. Unfortunately, the only proof is in the style: It has Darrin type fenders with running boards deleted. Though exact model production figures aren't available, the 1940 junior sedan is a rarity among pre World War II Packards and one of the most beautiful Packards ever made. The four-door junior club sedan was new to the Packard lineup in 1940 and was produced for only that year. Compared to the touring sedan, the club version featured blank upper rear quarters (no windows) and a rounded trailing edge to the upper portion of the rear door. I purchased the car with the intention of restoring it but lack of time and funds has forced a change in plans. The car has a running 1948 327 cubic inch engine and a 3-speed manual transmission with R-9 overdrive, Brakes, gas tank and some chrome have been re-done. The body has a few rust spots with some rust areas repaired when the car ...

This amazing original 160 Convertible Sedan has a known history going back to new. The car was sold by Zell Motors to a publishing magnate in Baltimore, and then passed to Sterling Walsh, a prominent AACA member and co founder of the Eastern Fall meet at Hershey. At the time of his acquisition in 1970, the car had only covered 14,000 miles. The car remained in Mr Walsh's collection for many years and was a regular on AACA tours and meets. This car is believed to be the only remaining largely original example fo the very few remaining .The car features some very hard to find original items such as the often failing Plastic dash trim, a factory Packard Radio, Driving Lights, and has the patina that only a well kept original car can exhibit. The paint and brightwork is quite nice and the car is at home on the concours field having been shown at important Concours ...
