May we have the attention of all Packard Aficionados?1938 Packard 1668 Eight, Here is a car that does not come to market often. Offered for sale is our 1938 Packard Rollston Town Car. We are not Packard experts, but from what we can tell it is a 1668 Eight All Weather Brougham by Rollston on a 127 inch wheelbase. We can find no reliable numbers, but we do have an article stating that Rollston built an average of 20 of these cars annually, so how many still exist? For a brief history: Rollston was a custom coach builder for the auto industry located in New York. They survived the Depression, but were finally forced to close it's doors in 1938 due to financial reasons. The company was reformed as the Rollson Company in September of 1938.They built 40 to 50 car bodies until their demise in 1941 due to World War II. This car becomes one of the very last units produced by the original Rollston Company. With the help of Mr. Tom Cook, renowned Packard “guru” of Washington state, we purchased the ...

1942 Packard Clipper. Car has 28,000 original miles. Last driven in 1945 - still has plate. Engine (straight 8) was rebuilt because of two stuck valves by prior owner. Engine does run and has brand new wiring harness. Wires to engine have been run but to lights and gauges needs completed. Car has minor surface rust. Front driver's side floor has a small 6 x 4" hole because the padding under the original rubber mat held condensation. Car had a small front end collision in 1945, was repaired with NOS parts. Owner could not pay the bill. Person who did the repairs put a lien on car and car was stored indoors from 1945 until his death where it was sold at his estate auction by the person I bought it from. I bought it to rat rod but decided the car is way too nice and way to complete to do it so hopefully selling it to someone who would like to restore this great original car. Upholstery is intact (wool) but is dry and has some rips from sitting so long. See pix. All gauges and dash are present, ...

This beautiful Packard is considered the "Crown Jewel" of Jim's Classic Garage and Auto Restoration. Previously restored prior to our purchase of the car, it has been meticulously dismantled and put back together the way it came off the showroom floor. Notable features include a 318 cid, 120 hp straight eight engine, manual transmission, ride control system, 2 golf bag compartments as well as a rumble seat big enough for 2 large people with long legs. This car was restored to Pebble Beach Concourse standards. At a recent function at the family owned and original Harold LeMay Museum location, the car was being displayed. No less than 10 of the Museums volunteers stated that this car was the most beautiful car they had ever seen. This coming from people who know cars and are around beautiful cars all day was extremely special. The car runs and drives even nicer than she looks. We have a full set of black on black radial tires for cruising as well as a set of period correct Coker bought white ...

Dad purchased this low mileage Packard from the original owner family in 2008. The car shows just over 22,000 miles on the odometer, which the family maintained was the total original mileage, although there is no documentation. This gorgeous Packard appears to have original paint, chrome, interior plastics and upholstery, all in very nice condition for a 73 year old car. It runs and drives well. There is a minor exhaust leak from the exhaust manifold. All gauges and switches work well. Aftermarket directional signals have been added for safety. The wide whitewall tires still have excellent tread. Very rare to find such a low mileage untouched Packard. Please examine the photos carefully to confirm the excellent condition of this amazing survivor. If you have further questions about the car, please call John at 509-453-6447 between 9 AM and 8 PM Pacific Daylight Time. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required within 48 hours of end of auction. Cleared payment in full required within ...

Unrestored Original 1935 Packard Senior Series 1200 “Standard Eight,” Five Passenger Touring Sedan. CCCA/ACCA Classic During the 1920’s and 1930’s, Packard was the leading luxury car manufacturer in the United States, and very possibly, in the world. Packard cars were engineered, and were built using a great deal of hand labor. They were rugged, luxurious, and beautifully detailed cars. The depression in the early 1930’s forced the company to look to volume production in the mid-price market. The hired manufacturing talent from General Motors and in 1935 introduced the new “120” series to compete with Buick, LaSalle, Hudson and other medium priced marques. The profits from the “120” series permitted the company to continue making their elegant, limited production Standard Eight, Super Eight, and Twelve models (referred to as the “Senior” series cars). The styling of the Senior series Packards were modernized significantly for 1935, including skirted pontoon fenders, and streamlined headlights, ...

View our eBay StoreSign up for our Email Newsletter 1941 Packard 110 Convertible Coupe offered with a reserve This immaculate example was the subject of a complete ground up restoration spanning several years, completed in 2012. The car has traveled about 500 miles since restoration. With a known history from new the car is currently under the care of its 5th owner. It was purchased as a partially restored car in pieces and completed by the current owner- the car had been repainted some time ago, so the only real flaws on the car are some minor paint crazing-visible only on very close inspection. Everything was rebuilt or replaced, and speical care was taken to improve the engine during the rebuild- hardened valve seats were installed to run better on modern fuel, and a rear main seal was added- something Packard did not do originally which lead to oil leaks in these cars, so that problem has been solved. All peripheral components were rebuilt or replaced,- generator, starter, fuel and ...
