This has always been in our family. It was removed form our barn in around 2001 and sent out for restoration. As you will see from our before pictures, it was always in very good condition. It has spent is whole life in georgia. It is a “10 out of 10”. Hasn’t been used much since it was restored with the exception of regular excercise and a few short Joy rides. We are simply liquidating things we do not regularly use. Because of the prevalence of scam callers, please contact thru the ebay site and I will respond quickly.

!969 Arkley SS. This is a 1969 MG Midget with an Arkley body conversion. The Arkley is a 2 piece front and rear fiberglass kit that replaces the front and rear sheet metal on an MG Midget. Originally built by John Britten in the UK throughout the late 1960's and early 1970's, the Arkley was sold as both a kit and assembled car from Mr. Britten. It became an inexpensive alternative to fixing rusty old Midgets and Sprites resulting in a unique little ride that has gained a kind of a cult status. It gives the car a complete, one piece forward tipping front end providing excellent access to the front end mechanicals. Think reverse Bugeye. The rear section, modeled after the sloping back of a Morgan replaces the rear fender and trunk. There is no removal of any structural members at all, thereby retaining all the stiffness of the original, perhaps a bit more. So what you have is a marginally stiffer and lighter car than the donor Midget you started with. There is no need to re-register or retitle ...

1972 MGB in excellent condition. The car received a cosmetic and partial mechanical restoration four years ago and looks new inside and out. The dashboard and windshield were replaced as well as the top and all the mechanical components listed above. The car is fun to drive and handles extremely well, the engine starts and runs very well. This car can be driven anywhere with no problems, it can easily handle highway speeds as well as curvy back roads where it is the most fun. The car needs nothing and will not disappoint the new owner. If using PayPal for payment please add 5% to your winning bid. eBay would not post the listing unless I accept payment through PayPal. Please be aware of this when bidding or paying if you bid wins the auction.

As you can see, this is a barn find. Apologies for the bad photos. Lighting is an issue in this barn! This auction is priced for the car's engine, transmission, suspension, body, door hardware and misc parts found on the car. Engine and trans are assumed to be useable. Engine turns when a wrench is applied to the crankshaft end bolt, and with the plugs loosened. I put Marvel Mystery oil (about 4 tablespoons per cylinder) then waited a month before trying to turn the crankshaft. TITLE - PLEASE NOTE: This car can be titled in CT for you, but that will take approx $250 worth of my time, and a month plus, IN ADDITION to the auction selling price, if that is important to you. I feel this car is best used for its parts. Per the VIN number, this MGB is likely a 1964, but could be a 1965 depending on what web site you work with. Per the engine number (18GH-WE-H26918), this is either a 1969 or 1970 engine. It could be a C in place of the G in that engine number. I'd imagine the gearbox is also ...

The restoration of this 1971 MGB is about 85% complete and many of the parts needed to complete this top notch restoration are included with the car. 1971 MGB project car with most of the “heavy lifting” done. Car was being restored by an MG enthusiast and his wife when, regrettably, he passed away before the car was completed. This car has been rotisserie restored from top to bottom and end to end. It sports striking Kandy Coat UK07 Root Beer paint that looks great. The rebuilt engine was tested before and after installation and it runs great. The rest of the drive train has been installed along with the under hood wiring harness. The car now can be driven on and off of a transporter, as may be desired. Significantly, as the car was disassembled and new parts were obtained to replace those no longer serviceable. Each part was bagged, tagged and boxed, all being cataloged by box number. There are about a dozen boxes with these parts (see photos), a list of which is available in a PDF file ...

1965 MG MGB Originally British Racing Green, one repaint since new in red was done by a previous owner. Great driver quality car or excellent candidate for restoration. I found this car in central Florida and purchased it as a fun driver and possible future restoration project. Problem is I have too many project cars and not enough time so this one has to go. The car is complete and seems to be well-maintained. It was stored for a long time in a hangar at a local airport. The previous owner ran and drove the car regularly on the airport property. Odometer reads just over 70,000 and was represented to me as original mileage. Based on condition of car it seems reasonable. Speedometer and odometer work properly. Florida title reads exempt as is the case with old cars in Florida. This MGB is in good overall condition. Starts right up and runs, drives, and stops as it should. Lights, instruments, etc. all work properly. The engine is very clean has good oil pressure and doesn't run hot. No ...
