Interior and body appear to be in good shape. The underside apears to be good but I don't know enough about it to make a judgment. To tell for sure I would have an inspection service look at it.This vehicle ran very well the last time I drove it. It has, however been in storage at a classic car center controlled temperature warehouse for a number of years, so it will need going over to make it fully road ready. Again, it will need more that that after sitting to make it road ready. The vehicle is in a place where it can be seen and examined by the buyer or the buyers mechanic or inspection Service at the buyers expense before the end of the auction. Buyer understands, that we are all human and do make mistakes or forget to add some details. We will not be held accountable for errors or omissions the description. Note that this is a used vehicle and is being sold as is/ & where/is with no guarantees or warranties either written or implied. Owner will accept absolutely no returns, refunds, ...

This car was restored to what I consider a daily driver that I can show. It isn't perfect. I have won awards for the car and it's fun to show and drive. The radiator and gas tank have been rebuilt. The car was painted and new interior in 2015. The seats was taken down to all metal. New u joints. It has the 259 engine that runs great but hasn't been rebuilt that I know of. I did put new gaskets and seals in it but it has a slight oil leak. The automatic transmission was completely rebuilt but for some unknown reason Park doesn't work? Drives fine so I just use the parking brake. The aluminum and chrome does have very minor putting, scratches or dents that still shines and shows well. Not enough for me to spend the money to redo. Still turns heads and alot of positive nods. The engine is dressed with Offenhouser valve covers and air cleaner. An Eldebrock carburetor with electric fuel pump. I have the originals. I have new brakes and seals, new hoses, belts etc. It has a complete front end ...

HI I AM SELLING MY 1962 STUDEBAKER HAWK GT AND ITS IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION.THE ENTIRE CAR HAS BEEN REDONE FROM THE FRAME UP INCLUDING A REBUILD OF THE ENGINE. THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE NICEST HAWKS I HAVE EVER OWNED. IT HAS ITS ORIGINAL 289 8 CYL ENGINE AND ITS ORIGINAL TRANSMISSION. THE ENGINE STARTS RIGHT UP AND REALLY PURRS LIKE A KITTEN. THERE ARE NONE OF THE USUAL NOISES AT ALL. THE ENGINE PULLS GREAT AS IT HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO A 4 BARREL CARB. THE TRANS IS ORIGINAL AS WELL AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT. IT SHIFTS GEARS GREAT. THE ONLY THING I REPLACED RECENTLY IS THE BATTERY.THE PAINT WAS DONE RECENTLY AND IT IS MAGNIFICENT. THE PAINT WAS DONE IN A 2 STAGE PAINT. IT IS A DEEP BURGANDY WITH ALOT OF METALLIC. THE LAST PICTURE IS SHOWING HOW THIS CAR GLISTENS IN THE SUN. THE PANELS ARE RAZOR STRAIGHT AND THERE IS NO BONDO ON THIS CAR. THERE IS OBVIOUSLY NO RUST ON THIS CAR EITHER. AT THE TIME IT WAS PAINTED ALL THE GLASS WAS REMOVED AND ALL THE STAINLESS HAS BEEN REMOVED. ...

This is probably one of the nicest Silver Hawks you will find anywhere. It started out life as a six cylinder with three on the tree. Sometime along the way it had a 259 V8 installed along withV8 front coil springsThe engine has zero hours since the cylinder heads were rebuilt with new valves, guides, and hardened valve seats to handle today’s unleaded gas.The car just came out of a restoration shop in Mesa AZ with a trim off, windows out paint job.All the chrome was restored and plated by Royal Plating in Tucson AzIt has a GM turbo 400 transmissionGM one wire alternatorZero miles Coker whitewall tiresCarter AFB carburator just rebuilt by Carburators Unlimited in Glendale AZAM/FM radioDid I mention it has air conditioning ( important for an Arizona car ) heater not so much but it has oneWindows are tinted for the same reasonThe clock even worksTo see what this car is worth go to Hagerty.com/valuation

Although it was fresh and new in 1959, it began to look aged by 1961, and it lost more and more sales to the fresh new Big 3 compacts. With increased competition from the brand-new Buick Special, Oldsmobile F-85, and Pontiac Tempest, the Lark didn't have such a good year in 1961. Fortunately, new, dynamic president Sherwood H. Egbert called upon his friend Brooks Stevens of Milwaukee, Wisconsin to redesign the aging Hawk and Lark lines for 1962 on a shoestring budget. Stevens lengthened the car and added new styling that made the car look longer, lower, and wider. He also gave the Lark a new grille that gave it the appearance of a Mercedes-Benz (Mercedes was distributed by Studebaker in the US at the time). Stevens' ...
