This is a 1976 280z sold new in Arizona (and stayed there until 2017). The car is totally rot free and never been hit. Its powered by a mid 70's corvette 350 engine and turbo 350 automatic trans. Everything is new, the car has less than 500 miles on the rebuild and it runs and drives great. I bought the car as an unfinished project which sat for 20+ years due to the death of the builder. He got really close and I finished it. 1976 280's have a full unibody frame and that is why he chose this year. The 350 is stock except for a mild cam, aluminum intake, holley 600 avenger carb and electronic distributor. The engine and trans are brand new as well as the driveshaft, rear axle (3:55 positraction r200), struts, eibach lowering springs, rear axle bearings, brakes, and full borla custom exhaust. This is a factory a/c car and its all there except for the hoses (they will need to be made up, I have 1 original as a sample). The wheels are authentic panasports ($3,000!) with cooper competition ...

Im selling my 1976 280Z, The Eggplant, as i can no longer afford to take care of her. ***I've taken close-ups of the several dents and rusty spots (you can see the dents but not the rusty spots in the photos) but I've run out of photos allowed in the ad. I've added them to the top of my flickr feed, here: https://www.flickr.c om/photos/140878025 N06/? If there's anything else you'd like to see, message me and I'll add it to the flickr stream*** ***Shipping's up to you, though I'll be happy to help on this end. Local pickup would be groovy.*** Built engine from Datsun Spirit. Specs below. $6095.00, not including shipping or installation. Freer-flowing P90 head from, if I remember correctly, 280zx Turbo, and shaved a little to raise compression to 10.1:1. Engine bored a little so displacement is raised slightly. Stage I camshaft. Fancy alloy rods and pistons. Ill email you the document that came with the engine if youd like to see it. The specs below are from it. Transmission replaced ...
