This is a Dodge Demon Recreation...it was originally a Duster. When you buy a Classic Car off the internet you never know what you are buying. And most of the time when you get it back home these are things that have to be fixed and a lot of items not disclosed that end up with time down and more money out of your pocket. So you buy a great "A" body for $8- $12k and then have to spend another $5k to finish it and sometimes more than that. I build these cars for a living and the cost of sheet metal replacement and paint is expensive. Doing it correctly metal work on a Classic Mopar can run you a easy $12-$15k. So, why not simply just buy a finished car that when you get it home, you simply drive it and keep it clean? Put tags and insurance on it and that is you biggest issue. I ran this car a few weeks ago and it got up to $12,100. And simply this car, the work in it and it's condition it is not going to be sold for $12k. I looked at some "A" bodies this past week at Cruzin' The Coast in ...
