Beep Beep ..... 1968 was the first year for the Plymouth Roadrunner, the last would be 1980. Plymouth paid $50,000 to Warner Bros.-Seven Arts to use the Road Runner name and likeness from their Wile E. Coyote and The Road Runner cartoons (as well as a "beep, beep" horn, which Plymouth paid $10,000 to develop) For sale is this awesome 1968, first generation Roadrunner. But, this is no ordinary Roadrunner. The standard 383 has been replaced with a built 440 Big Block that includes a forged crankshaft, forged Wiseco pistons, Eagle rods, Roller comp cam, Roller lifters and rocker arms, Holley HP 950 pro series carburetor, MSD billet distributor, MSD ignition box, Victor Jr aluminum intake and Eldebrock aluminum heads, just to mention a few of the unique features that make this car so much fun to drive ... and with the back seat still intact, fun to ride in as well. Beautiful paint, tires, and rims and recently tuned at DBR Racing. A must see. Priced to sell. I reserve the right to end the ...

Born as a slant 6 cylinder, with radio and heater delete, the consigner set out to create a clone of a Plymouth Max Wedge. Sans aluminum front end, and wedge engine, the ...

It was the perfect blend of style and substance. Not too flashy or gaudy with some classy touches throughout that let you know you are in a higher end car. In short, the 1967 GTX was the first true luxury muscle car Chrysler ever built. I give you now A Red Hot (Actually Crimson Metallic) 1967 Plymouth Belvedere GTX. This is a prime example of late 60's Muscle. With less than 10,000 miles on the drivetrain it since received an overhaul. Close attention was paid to keep the car original even going as far as contacting Chrysler to obtain the original Govier build record!
