This is an original true convertible, California car that had the same original owner for 60 years. It still has the 1963 black and yellow California license plates on it. The car was put in storage in 1967 and didn't see daylight until 2016. It took some Marvel Mystery Oil, some gasoline, and about two hours to get it purring like a kitten. The brakes and hydraulic clutch system will need to be freshened up, and a new water pump (included) to be installed to be drivable, but the engine is tight. This may be the only Metropolitan convertible that I have seen with virtually no rust. There is some surface discoloration on the floors, but they are solid, as is the rest of the car. There is one small dent in front of the left rear wheel. This is a perfect candidate for a full restoration, or it can be driven just like it is. The original color was red. Not sure why they painted it blue, but they did. More pictures available upon request. Body# 18259, Model# 541, Trim# 1, Paint P904-8 Feel ...

IT RUNS! Bottoms of doors have some rust, but I have extra doors! All glass is intact. I have done some work on it (fuel pump, shifting bushes, spark plugs), and my mechanic has done some other maintenance things. I have many items from a parts car I acquired several years ago (bumpers, doors, glass, door handles, trim, seats, etc.); the car body went bye-bye. I removed the original back seat so my dogs would have room, but I kept it, too. Brakes have a little problem right now, as they seem to be grabbing somewhat. I have had fun driving it around the neighborhood, but I have some unexpected expenses that mean I have to sell "The Minnow." I have videos I can send to your email, even one taken yesterday of the engine running. While transport may cost something, this is a good buy for someone who wants a Metropolitan that RUNS and is willing to put some work on the body. The Minnow is registered, tagged, and insured.

**CAR BEING LISTED A 3X - CAR PRICE WILL NOT BE LOWERED ANY FURTHER** **PLEASE DO NOT BID THAN RETRACT YOUR BID BECAUSE YOU THINK IT IS EXCITING TO PLAY "AUCTION" BUT DON'T HAVE THE MONEY** Calling all classic car lovers! Here is a very rare find for you. This is a 1950 Nash Ambassador Custom, the highest model and trim level available from Nash back then (the super was one step below the custom). This car is ALL original too except for the front seat which was taken out by the previous owner and swapped out with the front seat of a 1951 Nash Ambassador Custom. All the seats were reupholstered by the previous owner the current vinyl brown/cream color with no holes or rips that I can see (There are some in the cloth material that is only on the back part of the front seat but they are minor.) The car comes with one of the original ignition keys! (And it also comes with a spare one and two trunk keys.) One of the cool things about this car is how you start it. You put the ignition key in ...

Up for auction is a low mile, three owner from new, 1957 Metropolitan, In Two Tone Red & White paint. This little Metro only has 32,169 original miles and it's present owner has documentation on the original miles. This is a no rust car ever. The car starts easy and drives nice, no smoke or engine noise. Hydraulic clutch is smooth but quick and the car column shifter, shifts easy. The body has had a repaint maybe 15 years ago but it looks very nice in the Two Tone red & white. All chrome is bright and the car shows well. Glass is all good and windows roll up and down as they should. It has a newer top that has only been up a few times, and the top boot is nice also. The car has the Flying Lady accessory hood ornament in excellent condition and the continental spare tire has the nice cover. Other options are Radio, Heater, Turn Signals, Electric Wipers and the dealer installed Wing Windows. (please look at pictures closely) Tires are good but one hub cap has a small scratch. The interior ...

1957 Nash Ambassador Custom Country Club Hardtop Cosmetically restored and fitted with AC, power windows, power steering, power brakes and more! One of only 997 built for 57! Designed by Pininfarina! When Nash-Kelvinator merged with Hudson in 1954 to form American Motors Corporation (AMC), it was essentially a last-ditch effort to put together the efforts of the independents. Among the innovations credited to Nash was the first fully integrated heat/vent/AC system entirely contained under the hood of the full-size Ambassador (that sold for only $345). This was a huge selling point and brought AC to the masses when Ford had yet to offer factory AC. Unfortunately, the Ambassador came to an end in 1957 but went out with a bang, with two- and three-tone paint schemes and styling by famous Italian design house Pininfarina, who had only collaborated on a few cars with Ferrari at this point in time. We are very excited to offer this 1957 Nash Ambassador Custom Country ...
