Less than 60,000 miles on a 1959 Rambler American Deluxe Sedan. You might hear this all the time. . . but this car was owned by a little old lady from the Bay Area! She bought it new and drove it until it started smoking, and then she sold it to a family friend in the 1980's, where it has been sitting ever since. (The title is dated 1983.)   This cute car still runs and drives, but the engine smokes. We installed a new brake master cylinder, and all 4 wheel cylinders are brand-new. All of the brakes shoes are new, and all 4 drums were turned. All 3 flexible brake lines were replaced, as well as several sections of metal brake line. The original AM radio hums when you turn it on, but never seems to find a station. Both of the original gold-and-black license plates are still on the car.   The fuel tank was professionally cleaned out, repaired, and then lined. The pick-up tube was replaced. The only thing we didn't do was replace the fuel gauge sending unit. (Couldn't find one in time.) The ...

But, like most anti-Detroit rhetoric, that mindset was perpetuated by folks who really didn't know what they were talking about. As early as 1950, AMC president George Mason believed small cars had a real future on U.S. roadways. And, when the recession hit in 1958, the company's management decided it would be an ideal time to perfect their Rambler American series. Fast forward 56 years and this professionally restored resto-mod is certainly some of the coolest metal to ever roll down an assembly line. Thanks to its remarkable combination of Ford power and simplistic style, the car ...

1934 Frazer Nash replica, originally this kit was on a VW but was later rebuilt onto a 1970 Triumph GT6 which is how it is titled. It is an old build and has some rattles but appears to run fast and strong and sounds great. I am not sure of actual mileage. All that I know it needs is a new small hydraulic clutch cylinder which is cheap and easy to access. Easy fix. Some times you have to move the steering wheel some to get the horn to blow which I imagine is simply grounding issue. This comes with the binder full of original pictures of rebuild as I have included some of those pics as well, but all documentation and pictures come with the car, of course.New sway bar bushings and link just installed on front, car will need an alignment. Please feel free to ask questions and I will do my best to help you!Located in Greensboro NC 27406

1956 Nash Metropolitan convertible project car. Recently acquired from an estate sale. This is a great candidate for restoration or fix a few things and go cruising. The car is original Caribbean green over white with black and white interior in very good shape. All in all this is a solid little car. There is some rust in the front floor pans as indicated in the photos, but all four fenderwells and the rockers are solid and rust free. There are some dings and scrapes. Doors open and close as they should and gaps are good. Windows work fine. At one time it took a hit to the spare tire on the back. The damage was not bad but the amateur repair job needs to be redone. You can see the seams on top of both sides of the rear fenders are straight. The color match in that area - doesn't. It had been in storage for a long time but the engine should run with little work. The windshield has a crack but is flat glass. Needs new tail light lenses and rings...easy to find. It does have the original jack ...
