I am selling my 1960 Rambler Station wagon. Sometimes called a mini Nomad. The paint scheme proves the point. Basically, a stock 196.5 cu. in., standard transmission wagon with some changes..which are, new radiator core custom made, moved forward with twin electric fans, new shocks, brakes, tune-up, head gasket, wires, changed to alternator, 14 in. Michelin radials on old style Crager Mags. Many new parts obtained for this vehicle. Undercoated, sound proofed. Comes with new inside handles and window cranks. Have headliner and carpet and all materials needed to finish interior to match seats done in turquoise & white. Motor has had a compression check and is between 142 & 148 pounds. Vehicle has had front end alignment. Also comes with vintage original motor manual and shop manuals. Winning buyer will also receive a rare two-carb aluminum head with carburators that fit this motor. This can be a "cool" ride that won't "break the bank". 1957 Nash Metropolitan ready to be restored back to its original glory. The paint was originally red and was redone. Three of the four tires are in good condition. Spare is in good condition. The interior is original in fair condition and has no tears or rips. It has the original engine, which is removed. It has the original radiator, chrome bumps, ariel antenna, spare tire cover, and interior quarter panels. Car is being sold to make room for new projects. Pictures included are the truck, engine number, and firewall plate. This car is going at NO RESERVE From Wikipedia, The Nash Metropolitan is a car that was sold, initially, only in the United States and Canada, from 1954–62. It conforms to two classes of vehicle: economy car and subcompact car. In today’s terminology the Metropolitan is a “subcompact”, but this category had not yet come into use when the car was made. At that time, it was variously categorized, for example as a "small automobile" as well as an "economy car".

FELLOW EBAYERS I AM SO EXCITED TO OFFER A PART OF HISTORY. PREVIOUS OWNER WAS A 75 YEAR OLD MAN WHO HAD THIS CAR OVER 25 YEARS. THE GUY IS VERY ILL AND COULD NOT REPAIR THE VEHICLE. I WAS TOLD THAT BEFORE THE CAR WAS PARKED IT RAN, BUT THE CAR WAS SPUTTERING SO THE OWNER BOUGHT A NEW GAS TANK, BUT NEVER INSTALLED IT SO THE CAR COMES WITH A EXTRA GAS TANK. THE CAR HAS NOT BEEN STARTED IN 10 YEARS I WAS TOLD. I MAY GET A MECHANIC TO SEE IF HE CAN GET IT RUNNING IF SO THE PRICE WILL MORE THAN LIKELY CHANGE. WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE VEHICLE YOU WILL RECEIVE A CLEAN TITLE FROM THE DMV. THE METAL PLATE ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR SAYS AMERICAN MOTORS CORPORATION DETROIT MICHIGAN BODY#44281, MODEL#6005-1, TRIM#51, AND PAINT#94-4 THEN IT HAS THE NUMBERS 20111 NEXT TO IT. THE SIDE REAR VIEW MIRROW IS MISSING. THERE IS RUST ON THE BODY WHERE YOU CAN SEE THE HOLES, BUT I KNOW SOMEONE OUT THERE WILL BRING IT BACK TO IT'S GLORY. THE ENGINE IS THE ORIGINAL, BUT I NOTICED THAT THE AIR FILTER IS MISSING FROM ...

1949 Nash 4 door super 600. Mostly complete. Missing one piece of trim, radiator fan, and other minor parts. Non running condition. Motor was running and was in the process of being removed to be replaced with a v8. Previous owner had plans to make it a street rod. Will need most side glass. Curved glass is in good condition. Car is mostly solid with some rust on the driver side floor, lower exterior fenders and quarter panels. This model has a front seat that converts to a bed. Would make a nice car either restored or a street rod. Please see pictures for any other visual aspects. Car is for sale AS IS condition with no reserve. I would be glad to help with transportation. Please contact me with any questions - 302-540-0391. Thanks. Jimmy.

Up for auction is one very nice little 1953 Nash Rambler, (Nashty). This is one of the best built, Nash Street Rods I have seen. Built by a dedicated Rod builder, that dose it right. This car drives as nice as it looks and is a show stopper at all events. The car runs down the road with ease and is a blast to drive. (No raddles and very tight.) The 302 Ford engine has good power and is fun with it's 5 speed trans. All windows roll up and down as they should and front and rear glass is clear with no chips. The car had no rust and the body was very straight when the build was started. The paint is 13 years old and is showing some age from over polishing, but look very nice. (Please look at pictures closely.) Interior is beautiful and looks new. All chrome has been redone and stainless polished, even the original naked lady hood ornament was re plated. This little Nash comes with special built tools for changing the wheels & tires, as they are tucked up inside the body. The car has been channeled ...

1955 Nash Metropolitan California Time Capsule, Canyon Red 32K Miles ......please be patient while the many photos load..... 1956 Nash Metropolitan for Sale wearing it's original Canyon Red paint with purportedly just 32k miles. While we do not have enough in the way of documentation to support these miles, there are many clues that do. The car is unbelievably original and given it's 60 year lifespan, it's really quite amazing! This rare, low production series rolled off the assembly line in November of 1955 right at the time of the change over from the Series II or (NK2) to the Series III (NK3) cars. The Series II cars were an improvement due to the 1,200 cc (73 cu in) as used in the Austin A40 Cambridge as well as a new gearbox and hydraulic actuation for the clutch (Series I models used a mechanical clutch linkage). This particular car belonged to a school teacher in Mill Valley, California for it's first thirty years and was used to get groceries and commute down the street to the ...

But, like most anti-Detroit rhetoric, that mindset was perpetuated by folks who really didn't know what they were talking about. As early as 1950, AMC president George Mason believed small cars had a real future on U.S. roadways. And, when the recession hit in 1958, the company's management decided it would be an ideal time to perfect their Rambler American series. Fast forward 56 years and this professionally restored resto-mod is certainly some of the coolest metal to ever roll down an assembly line. Thanks to its remarkable combination of Ford power and simplistic style, ...
