I am selling this 1961 Nash Metropolitan convertible for an elderly friend who is moving into an assisted living home. He and his family decided it is finally time to let someone else enjoy this cute little car. They decided it would be best to have the car mechanically checked and detailed before selling. The car runs, drives and brakes very well as a 71,000 mile car should. Both the brake master cylinder and the clutch slave cylinder have been rebuilt. The car has been in dry storage for over 30 years. The paint is the original Autumn Yellow color, but is very old. It has a good shine but also has some cracks and bubbles. The interior is in good condition and so is the top. The car has rust underneath. Everything on the car works except the original radio. I have 100% positive feedback because I don't exaggerate the condition of cars This car has great potential. The owner is selling this car without reserve as he feels this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction. If you have ...

This rare find has been in storage since 1978. It was stored on the fourth floor of a concrete warehouse - dry as a bone. Original owner paid for quite a while then stopped. The vehicle title was taken over for unpaid storage charges. The car appears near original with the exception of paint. The color codes stamped on the firewall plate indicate it originally was coral red and white. It now is a teal/green and what could be the original white. The interior does not look altered. Tires look original. All emblems, knobs, spare tire kit, etc are all intact. Body panels and frame are solid. No rust. I have more pictures if you are interested. Three tires hold air fine and one has a very slow leak. I turned the snout of the engine and it moves with the expected resistance of compression and valve springs. It is not froze. Since I do not know the pre-storage history, I cannot guarantee it will run. It obviously will need belts, hoses, all fluids, battery, etc. to attempt to start. I have clear ...

This is a project, I brought it back from Arizona to restore it, other things came up, and I have no time for it, the body is SOLID, the only spot with minor rust is by the battery box, and it's not bad,the engine is apart but looks mostly there ,except for the intake manifold, and one piston, the story I got was that a valve broke and went through the piston, the block appears to be in good shape, no cylinder wall damage, transmission is complete,
